In Thursday’s episode of Kadenang Ginto, Daniela (Dimples Romana) bumped into a woman, played by Bea Alonzo right before confronting Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) at a food expo for some good old squabbling. Alonzo’s character quickly said, “I’m sorry” before trading stares and walking away.
Alonzo immediately became one of the most-talked about topics on Twitter locally, with many of the show’s fans wondering if she was set to join the cast of the drama.

During the announcement of her upcoming movie project, Alonzo explained how she was able to make a surprise appearance on the show. She said, “Nakakatawa, nagtrending ako! Kasi dinalaw ko si Dimples sa set nila ng ‘Kadenang Ginto’ and then sabi lang ng direktor, ‘Halika, kunwari mabubunggo ka ni Daniela.’ And then nagulat ako kasi ‘di ko alam na ipapalabas talaga nila!”
Alonzo even added that the scene also got a take two. “Take two pa ‘yun ha. Sabi nila, masyado daw akong OA.”
