Days after her talked-about cryptic message on Instagram which sparked rumors of infidelity in her relationship, Bea Alonzo was finally asked about her relationship status with Gerald Anderson.
The two were supposed to celebrate their third anniversary as a couple this year.
Alonzo had just finished a cast presentation this Friday afternoon (June 26) for her upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye under Star Creatives when she spoke with reporters when asked about her relationship with Anderson, which had been the subject of speculation in the last month after the actor was linked to the breakup of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, their fellow Star Magic talents. Anderson was Barretto’s first-time leading man in the romance film Between Maybes, released last May.
“Pinalaki ako ng ABS-CBN na professional, and we always have to show up regardless of what’s happening in my life,” she answered.
When asked about if she’s okay, she said, “I’m moving forward.”
She also thanked her friends for staying beside her during this troubling period in her life. “Malaking bagay na nandiyan ‘yung mga kaibigan ko… Maraming nagki-care para sa akin. Actually nagugulat nga ako na marami ang nagpapadala ng bulaklak, marami ang nagti-text. Malaking bagay ‘yon para sa akin.”

Meanwhile, Loisa Andalio, Gretchen Barretto, Angelica Panganiban, Kris Aquino, and many more celebrities showed support online.
When asked to clarify the news about Dennis Padilla confirming her breakup with Anderson who was now courting his daughter Julia Barretto, she answered, “Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.”
