A Facebook user posted her sentiments about a certain scene taken from GMA Network’s afternoon series Bihag. The post caught the attention of netizens who soon added their own hilarious remarks.
The scene was taken from the episode that aired on July 16, Tuesday, wherein Jessie (Max Collins) is chasing her long lost son, Ethan, who was being taken away by Reign (Sophie Albert) inside a mall.
In the captured photo, it can be observed that Reign was using a pink sling bag called a tassel bag or bohemian bag. The bag usually costs 60 to 80 pesos and can be bought from an online shopping site.
“AFFORD MONG BUMILI NG KWINTAS NA 500k TAPOS BINILI MO PA BAHAY NILA JESSIE PERO YUNG BAG MO TAG 79 LANG SA ONLINE? NAGLOLOKOHAN TAYO DITO REIGN? 😒” the netizen posted with the attached photo.
The netizen was frustrated and amused by the idea that Reign was using a cheap bag while she could afford to buy Jessie’s house and a half-million peso necklace.
Others speculated that the bag must be fake based on its appearance and an original may be priced at a hundred or a thousand pesos.
In the series, Reign is a rich woman who fell in love and had an affair with Brylle, Jessie’s husband. The life of the married couple was thrown into disarray when their son Ethan was kidnapped and Brylle had an extramarital affair with Reign.
The drama series premiered on April 1, 2019, on the network’s Afternoon Prime line up replacing Inagaw na Bituin. Originally titled as Ganti and later Stolen, it was later renamed to Bihag.
