Megastar Sharon Cuneta revealed why she won’t be joining in the upcoming The Voice Kids Season 4.
In an Instagram comment, Sharon said she feels hurt when she needs to eliminate aspirants. The singer shared that being a coach causes too much stress for her, especially when she needs to eliminate contestants from her camp.
“I cannot stand the stress kasi,” she wrote. “I become so attached to the kids and it weighs heavily on my heart ‘pag kailangan na mag-eliminate. Nu’ng May ko pa sinabi kay Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) ‘yon.”
In previous seasons of The Voice, Sharon has been noticeably emotional whenever eliinations come around.
The three original coaches—Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Lea Salonga—will return for The Voice Kids Season 4.
As for now, Sharon is busy preparing for her upcoming movie and her concert with Regine Velasquez.
