In the midst of the Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, and Julia Barretto cheating controversy, another name was almost dragged into the issue.
On an Instagram post of Kris Aquino, the former Queen of All Media posted a picture of herself with Erich Gonzales “one of her panganays” happily having dinner with her kids Bimby and Josh.
It came with the caption, “Dinnertime. #family (with 1 of my adopted ‘panganays’)… bimb took the shot kaya half lang his face. Enjoy your night. 💛”
When a netizen commented, “Kris, ask naman erich about the julia-bea feud. she’s bff with julia and friends with gerald.”
Kris defended Erich and asked the netizen to not involve her in this controversy.
“pwedeng wag nega? and ang hindi natin buhay wag natin guluhin especially erich na hindi directly involved? “
She also defended Julia Barretto.
“Obviously alam natin mahal ko si bea but diba unfair to judge julia because why do we always blame the girl? I can already feel the Gerald fans will blast me for this, but I have always told bimb, hindi mahirap maki break.”
Lastly, the former Queen of All Media asked for respect regarding the issue and wished for people to stop pitting women against each other.
“Respect someone you cared about enough to give them closure. then move on. Ganun lang ka-simple yun. Masakit ang goodbye pero mas masakit ang hindi worth a goodbye. So please respect women??? And don’d pit them against each other. Even those with no issues.”

The netizen’s comment was deleted. Erich recently backed out from the series Love Thy Woman because her role turned out to be a kontrabida which wasn’t pitched to her at the start.
Erich was replaced by former Halik lead star Yan Concepcion.
Kris Aquino on the other hand will star in her upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (K)ampon, which reportedly she would have a love scene between Derek Ramsey in the movie.
Kris Aquino’s last appearance in an MMFF movie was 2015.
