Dennis Padilla admitted that Gerald Anderson “ghosted” him by not replying to his texts. Dennis had previously confirmed that he called Gerald regarding rumors involving the actor and his daughter Julia Barretto.
Recently, Dennis revealed that Gerald has ignored his texts for four times now. Apart from this, he also said that Gerald is now ignoring his mother Evangeline Opsima after her recent interview. Evangeline had said in that interview that she is not in favor of Julia becoming Gerald’s girlfriend since she is too young for her son.
“Julia, hindi ibig sabihin hindi kita gusto, bata ka sa anak ko. May edad si (Gerald). Baka lang ilang taon lang, wala na rin. O maybe three months, wala na kayo,” Evangeline said to ABS-CBN News General Santos.
“Hindi ko sinasabing ayaw kita, no, ang akin lang, ang advice ko lang sa’yo, please, ayoko kasi, may edad na rin si Gerald sa’yo. Hindi rin kayo magtatagal kasi alam ko, nasa industriya ka rin. Alam ko ‘yung relasyon laro lang,” Evangeline said.

Due to several controversies and a negative image, Gerald was even named as the “Villain of the Year” and “man of the hour” by columnist Lolit Solis.
He has been attacked by bashers after Bea Alonzo, his former girlfriend, hinted about his alleged infidelity and confirmed that he “ghosted” her. Julia Barretto was rumored to be the reason for the breakup.
Gerald clarified that there was no third party involved in his breakup with Bea. In her recent interview, Julia also denied that Gerald was her boyfriend.
