During the 15th anniversary of GMA’s lifestyle magazine show Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, the host finally explained why she never joins Ed Caluag on any of the paranormal investigations for her show.
According to award-winning journalist Jessica Soho, she has the ability to see and feel spirits that started during her college years when she volunteered in Psychology class without even knowing the consequences.
Jessica explained: “Kasi alam kong meron din akong ganoong ability. May nakapagsabi sa’kin na may third eye rin ako at nabuksan na ‘yun. Noong college, sa isang Psychology class, kasi hypnosis ‘yung topic naming tapos tinanong ng teacher kung sino gusto magpa-hypnotize nag-volunteer ako. ‘Yun pala, kapag nagpa-hypnotize ka parang nabubuksan ‘yung third eye mo.”
Up to this day, Jessica can still sense and see spirits even at work at GMA Station.
“So alam ko bukas ‘yung third eye ko at marami rin akong mga kakaibang karanasan, nakakita na rin po ako ng multo sa opisina naming mismo sa GMA News, tapos meron din akong mga nararamdamang bagay.”
She also amicably told Ed to be frightened as she can do his job and might cause the end of his career on the show.
“Alam ko na kung gugustuhin ko, kaya ko ‘yung ginagawa ni Ed Caluag kaya matakot ka na sa’kin Ed. Kaso ayaw ko kasi duwag din po ako sa mga bagay na hindi mapaliwanag, so para lang hindi na ako makahalo pa dun sa mga ginagawa ni Ed at sa mga natutulungan niya, hindi na po ako sumasama kasi baka sa’kin din po magparamdam ‘yung mga hindi naman dapat. Kay Ed na po kayo pumunta. Ayun po ‘yung totoong dahilan.”
