Veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis lambasted Jim Paredes through a post on Instagram for criticizing GMA Network’s move to bring Bong Revilla back to the small screen.
Just like Jim who was able to surpass his lewd video scandal, Lolit reiterated that Senator Bong also deserves a second chance.
Lolit believes Jim should be more open-minded than anyone else, especially since he also experienced how it was like to be condemned by netizens when his scandal circulated on social media.
Lolit advised Jim to think things over before judging other people.

Lolit was triggered when Jim questioned GMA Network’s decision to provide a comeback TV show for Revilla. Jim asked GMA Network if it was okay for Revilla, given his involvement in the pork barrel scam and plunder case, to be a role model for the younger generation since his upcoming show is intended for the kids.

Jim’s post on Twitter are filled with negative feedbacks from netizens. Some advised him to trust the viewers as they will be the ones to decide whether Bong’s upcoming show will rank or not, while others also sarcastically asked if he likes to be the role model for the young generation instead of Bong.
