After the much talked about engagement reveal of Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, netizens have highlighted the queens of ABS-CBN who are settling down and are currently building their own families.
In a tweet by Kapamilya Online World, Kapamilya superstars Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Sarah G were highlighted for entering new phases of their personal lives.
One netizen even related the three to the song of Yeng Constantino “Time In” which has the lyrics, “Ikaw si Darna, Ikaw ang Dyosa, Ikaw ang Talang nagniningnging sa kalangitan”.
Of course ‘Darna’ referred to Angel, Dyosa to Anne for her fantaserye ‘Dyosa’ and Tala to Sarah’s ‘Bituing Walang Ningning’ and her song ‘Tala’.
Last June, Angel Locsin revealed her engagement to boyfriend Neil Arce. Angel and Neil have been in a relationship for more than a year which started in February 2018.
Anne, on the other hand, finally revealed her pregnancy with husband Erwan Heusaff.
Last November 10, Anne and Erwan officially announced they were expecting with a short video released through their social media accounts. Anne was already five months pregnant when they finally revealed that they were going to be first-time parents. Anne and Erwann have been married for two years.
Meanwhile, Sarah G and Matteo had their moment last November 7. Matteo revealed their engagement through an Instagram post which immediately spread like wildfire on social media. Prior to their engagement, Sarah and Matteo have been in a relationship for six years and they celebrated their anniversary last September.
With these ABS-CBN queens settling down, the thrones will now be open for new occupants and the possible successors include Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, and Kathryn Bernardo.
Maja being an action drama actress can well follow in the footsteps of Angel. Kim will likely follow Anne with their funny hosting skills and love for singing. Kathryn excels in light family dramas like Sarah and has great appeal to moviegoers.
