Coco Martin, Dingdong Dantes, and Angel Locsin remained silent as Robin Padilla challenged them to reveal their bankbooks to the public.
In a Facebook post, Padilla called out Kapuso and Kapamilya celebrities who expressed their support for ABS-CBN network amidst its possible closure. The 50-year old action star challenged them to reveal their network contracts to the public so that everybody would know just how unfair and biased ABS-CBN is to off-cam workers.
He also challenged the celebrities especially Martin, Locsin, and Dantes to show their bankbooks to the public.
However, until now, the three remained mum regarding Padilla’s request.
Aside from this, Padilla also dragged Martin’s name into his issue and exposed the actor-director’s alleged misbehavior on the set of Ang Probinsyano.
This, after a netizen commented on one of Padilla’s post saying he should emulate Martin who has undeniably helped many people, celebrities or not, by giving them acting jobs and casting them in FPJAP.
In reply to this, the “bad boy” of Philippine cinema said, “Napakarami ko pong pelikula na nagawa ko na nagkataon lang na wala akong ganang mag pelikula dahil sa nangyayari sa likod ng camera matagal na pong practice yan natutunan lang po yan ni direk Coco sa mga naunang action stars siguro po mainam sabihin niyo po kay direk Coco na ‘wag bubuhusan ng tubig ‘yung mga crew na nakakatulog sa pagod at pagpatol sa location manager na babae. Si John Lloyd (Cruz) po ay isa sa mga artista ng abscbn na katulad ko ayaw na gumawa.
“Ang pagsasabi ng totoo ay hindi sama ng loob ang katotohanan ay masakit pero ito ay nagsisilbing panggising sa mga tulog. Peace be with you.”
In 2018, Martin figured into a controversy about him allegedly splashing water on sleeping crew members and talents.
“Coco does not maltreat his staff and crew. Yung buhos tubig ay matagal na nilang laro sa mga teleseryes nila. Kapag nagpa-pack-up ang taping, buhusan ng tubig ang katuwaan nila.
“hindi lang naman sa Ang Probinsyano nangyari yung biruan nilang buhusan ng tubig. Kahit noon sa Juan Dela Cruz, ginagawa na rin nila yan at wala namang napipikon.“
Additionally, one of Coco’s friends revealed that the actor will not comment on Padilla’s tirades out of respect for the senior actor.
