Two Star Magic Circle 2019 members, Melizza Jimenez and Sophie Reyes recently launched their debut single.
Nineteen year old Melizza has been passionate about writing songs and singing. “I’ve always loved singing, ever since I was a kid I would listen to music, write music and then in 2017 I started taking it seriously,” says Melizza.
Melizza’s first original composition and independently produced single, “Always” is an indie type of music that caters to all ages. “I’ve always loved the idea of having someone to love and someone who would be your always so that inspired me very much, “ shared by Melizza.
Her song is out now on all streaming platforms, Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes store, Deezer, Iheart radio, Youtube and the likes.
Meanwhile, showbiz royalty (being the daughter of Rina Reyes, granddaughter of Baby O’Brian and great granddaughter of Paraluman), Sophie Reyes is also a singer and composer of two original pop songs, Rainfall and Bitaw.
Sophie was into writing songs since she was young but admittedly, she was too shy to try singing. “Marami pang mas talented diyan so why even try” until late last year I met people who were involved in music and I just saw how much they enjoyed and loved it then I realized that as long as you love and enjoy something, it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try and share it with people,” says Sophie.
Rainfall and Bitaw are produced by Michael Gemina and are now available on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezr.
