Jennylyn included hashtags calling for a reform in the tainted justice system.
The actress wanted to point out about giving justice to crimes involving members of the Philippine National Police.
To recall, Nuezca a member of PNP brutally shot the mother and son, Sonya and Frank Gregorio during an altercation.
The killer cop escaped after the murders but eventually surrendered.
News about killings involving cops circulated on the internet and other platforms. However, the victims who are shot or killed by the cops are rarely given justice.
They always claim that ‘self-defense’ is the reason why the cops shot the victims.
PNP should adhere to their motto, “To protect and to serve”, not the other way around. Because if the cops themselves are the criminals, to whom are we going run to?
So our justice system together with the PNP must ensure that bad cops must be immediately removed from the organization.
