Veteran actor Ian Veneracion seems to have reacted to being dragged into a nasty rumor that he is having an affair with younger co-star Sue Ramirez.
On Instagram, Veneracion posted, “Once upon a time, I was pissed. #happilymarried”
Although he did not have a specific name, the actor was obviously irritated by the rumors circulating on social media.
“I don’t want to normalize people exploiting our personal lives for their entertainment,” Veneracion said through a text image he shared on Instagram.
“I don’t need to defend myself from the lies of perverts,” Veneracion said.

This said rumor started when some netizens named Ian Veneracion and Sue Ramirez as the people in the blind item of PEP.ph.
The said entertainment site clarified that Veneracion and Ramirez were not the ones referred in their blind item that came out on January 24.
Veneracion has been in showbiz most of his life, having joined the entertainment industry at five.
But despite being constantly in the spotlight, Veneracion values his private life.
Veneracion is married to Pam Gallardo, an industrial engineer. The couple got married in 1994. In an interview back in 2017, the actor revealed that his marriage to Gallardo remains the best decision in his life.
“I’m 42 now. She’s literally like a part of me. So mas kilala ko ang sarili ko na nandoon siya as part of my life, kaysa sa wala siya,”
Settling early also proved beneficial to Veneracion as he can now spend a lot of quality time with his children, Tristan Draco Veneracion, Duccio Veneracion, and Deirdre Veneracion as if they are just in a “barkada.”
“Best decision of my life talaga, hanggang ngayon. Especially with Draco and Deirdre now, I can do so many things with them na. We play basketball, we ride motorcycles, we go paragliding, we do all these things na kung late pa, hindi ko na siguro ma-enjoy masyado.”
