KVN waits for the Green Light to Profess Love in ‘Pwede Na Ba’

Fresh from the success of the viral hit “Magandang Dilag,” emerging solo artist KVN is ready to introduce his own sound through his new single “Pwede Na Ba,” produced under the new label of ABS-CBN Music called Old School Records (O.S. Records).

KVN’s debut solo single is a tender ballad with a twist of pop vintage. It encapsulates the feeling of a cautious person who desperately wants to make it known how much a certain special someone means to him.

The laidback yet vibrant track is a follow-up to his earlier collaboration with songwriter-producer KIKX, “Kung Iniwan Mo Na,” and will be part of his forthcoming EP under Old School Records.

“We’ve actually written a lot of songs already that will be released in the future, and I’m excited for you guys to hear the way I write,” KVN admitted.

The young artist started his singing career when he crossed paths with KIKX after losing his job as a cruise ship singer due to the pandemic. Aside from being featured in “Magandang Dilag” and his solo music releases, he also sang the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines track “Kalawakan.”

KVN’s “Pwede Na Ba” is the maiden offering of the newly-launched Old School Records, which aims to produce nostalgic music of the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s era with a modern twist in collaboration with today’s hit producers and up-and-coming artists.

“Old School Records is my new venture with ABS-CBN Music,” KIKX previously revealed. “It’s scary but that’s how we grow so I’ll try to broaden my business as a musician through this.”

Don’t be afraid to ask the right questions in love and check out KVN’s “Pwede Na Ba,” out now on Star Music’s YouTube channel and on various digital music streaming platforms. For more details, follow Old School Records on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
