In an exclusive interview with Magkaagaw actor Jeric Gonzales, he reacted to the rumors about his relationships with co-stars Klea Pineda and Sheryl Cruz.
Jeric said that the rumors shocked him, but he thanked those people as it shows that they watch their teleserye.
“Nagulat nga din ako kasi, ‘di ko akalaing ganon magiging reaksyon ng mga tao. Natake ko siya siguro, ano na lang naging thankful na lang ako siguro sa kanila kasi syempre na-appreciate nila nakikita nila,” said Jeric.
He then clarified that they know the truth behind the rumors and that it doesn’t affect them. He also thanked those people for the publicity and promotion they received.
“Parang kami naman ‘yung mas nakakaalam kung totoo talaga. So parang publicity na lang din for us. Thank you na lang din. Kasi at least promotion ng show and napapansin nila kami. Hindi naman ako naapektuhan ‘nun about sa mga sinasabi nila,” said Jeric.
He added that he and Sheryl usually laugh off the rumors.
“Kami naman ni Miss She, very vocal kami about sa mga ganyan na lumalabas na issues. Natatawa kami minsan parang ganon na lang,” said Jeric.
As for their teleserye, Jeric revealed that they finished their 24-days-locked-in filming for the series finale.
“Isang locked-in taping lang kami kasi, nandun na kami sa point na ano, nasa climax na kami. Itinuloy lang yung kwento until sa finale. So isang locked-in lang naka 24 days kami. Ayun natapos nanamin sya,” said Jeric.
Finally, With the series finale on its way, Jeric says that he’d miss the challenging role he portrayed throughout the teleserye.
“Siguro, overall, mami-miss ko ‘yung challenge, ‘yung challenge ng show na to sa akin. Kasi first time kong gawin ‘yung ganitong role na matured and very sexy very intimate. So every scene, every day parang challenge siya sa akin ‘pag nagta-taping kami,” said Jeric.
Jeric began his career as a contestant in the Kapuso reality TV competition, Protegé. Now, Jeric stars as Gio in the series Magkaagaw, which is nearing its finale. Aside from the hit series, the actor also has worked on Kapuso teleseryes such as Destiny Rose, Kambal Karibal, and Super Ma’am.
