Kapamilya news anchor Noli De Castro and Korina Sanchez rekindled their friendship as Korina posted a throwback photo of them during their TV Patrol stint.
On Instagram, Korina posted a happy photo of her together with Kabayan and Ted Failon when they were still the main anchors of TV Patrol.
“FlashbackFriday: Days of Comfort Predictability @kabayannolidecastro #tedfailon,” said Korina in the Instagram post.

Kabayan who was tagged in the post reacted saying he truly missed working with his former colleagues in TV Patrol. De Castro also added that nobody can beat their teamwork, however, there is no forever.
“I really missed the days we are together sa tv patrol, and nothing can beat our teamwork, nobody, but there is no forever,” said Kabayan.
Korina meanwhile agreed while insisting that they can still be friends forever. Korina also added they might someday work together again.
“Hay true. Pwede namang ForeverFriends Kabayan! And… Malay mo? Hahaha,” Korina replied.
Korina started working for TV Patrol in 1995 replacing Mel Tiangco who transferred to GMA Network.
But it was in 2010 that the trio of Kabayan, Korina, and Ted took the helm of the Kapamilya flagship newscast.
The 3 worked together for 5 years until 2015 when Korina resigned from the program to support the presidential bid of his husband former Sen. Mar Roxas.
Meanwhile, following the shutdown of ABS-CBN due to the expiration of their franchise in May 2020 and the subsequent rejection of their franchise application in July 2020, ABS-CBN has no choice but to let go of many of its talents and employees.
Korina and Ted were just two of those Kapamilyas who moved to another channel. Currently, the two are doing their own shows with TV5.
Although Korina is with TV5 now, she’s still vocal about her love for the Kapamilya network.
Korina said ABS-CBN will remain in her heart, evident by some of her Instagram posts about ABS-CBN and her colleagues there.
“Of course. I will always have ABSCBN in my heart,” she said in one of her posts.

Korina also admitted still feeling pain about her network transfer. She described the experience as having your home burned down and you have no choice but to find another home.
“Masakit isipin na parang naglipat-bahay ka eh mahal na mahal mo ‘yung bahay mo. Parang nag-iba. Parang ganu’n. Ang feeling, ganu’n. ’Yung parang nasunog, natupok ng sunog,” said Sanchez.
