Pinoy Asianovela fans are still feeling ‘kilig’ over the 44-year old Jerry Yan as they watch his comeback TV series “Count Your Lucky Stars” (CYLS) on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.

According to the viewers of Jerry’s hit series, it’s as if the actor never aged. “Sobrang nakakakilig si Jerry Yan. Walang kupas,” commented YouTube user “Love & Life Vlogs” in an episode of CYLS posted on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube, where viewers in the Philippines can re-watch the latest episode for seven days after it was first streamed.

Another user, Alynn Del Rosario, echoed the comment saying, “Luh! Grabe! Tila ‘di tumanda si Jerry Yan.”

A viewer also pointed out that the role of Calvin Lu, a popular, yet snobbish fashion designer, fits Jerry. After all, he rose to fame playing the rich and snobby student Dao Ming Si in the phenomenal Asian series “Meteor Garden.”

“Bagay talaga kay Jerry Yan ang role na suplado. Nanonood ako nito [CYLS]. Parang Meteor Garden ang pinapanood ko,” user Saada Omar said.

Meanwhile, Pinoy fans are also loving the chemistry between Jerry Yan and Shen Yue, the actress dubbed as the Shan Cai of the new generation. Shen plays Jerry’s leading lady Andi Tong, a fashion designer whose life is bombarded with misfortune.

“Tanggal ang pagod ko kapag napapanood ko ‘to. Sobrang ganda. Nakakakilig talaga. Jerry Yan ang gwapo mo talaga,” YouTube user P & L Channel commented.

Others also said that they like to watch the series over and over again and that the love team of JerYue is ‘nakakakilig.’ Another viewer meanwhile, thanked ABS-CBN for bringing the series on YouTube as it is not available on his cable provider.

“Count Your Lucky Stars” was first seen in the Philippines on the streaming platform iWantTFC in February. ABS-CBN then announced that it was bringing the series on various online, cable, and free TV platforms beginning March 15 to delight more Filipinos.

In the previous weeks, viewers have seen how Calvin and Andi’s paths crossed in CHIC magazine and how they seemingly swapped fates when they accidentally kissed. In Monday night’s (April 5) episode, Andi’s (Shen Yue) luck is looking pretty good as she was named head designer of a prominent company. How will Calvin (Jerry Yan) be able to help Andi? Will Andi’s good fortune continue as her career takes flight?

Catch it on “Count Your Lucky Stars” every weekday at 10 pm on Kapamilya Channel (cable), Kapamilya Online Live (Facebook at YouTube), iWantTFC (online), A2Z (free TV), and TV5 (free TV). For more news, follow @ABSCBNPR on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or visit abs-cbn.com/newsroom.
