Heartful Café stars Julie Anne San Jose and David Licauco reacted to their series moving from GTV to GMA Telebabad.
In the media conference for the kilig-filled GMA Teleserye, Heartful Café, San Jose and Licauco shared their opinions about their series landing the primetime slot.
San Jose is all praises for the content of their series and viewers deserve to watch what they worked hard for, regardless of where the GMA management and programming decide to air it–whether on GMA Network or GTV.
“Parang, sa sobrang ganda nung script, and nung story, and yung concept, parang it didn’t matter kung sa GMA or sa GTV sya ipapalabas eh. Kasi ang ganda talaga ng content namin. And we couldn’t wait na makita din ng audience namin yung pinaghirapan din namin.”
She added that it made her happy that the teleserye landed the primetime slot. San Jose thanked GMA Network for trusting her with the project.
“We got a news na sa primetime nga din ie-air so sobrang nakakataba po talaga ng puso. And of course, maraming salamat din sa GMA for trusting us sa project na ito. And, thankful din ako kasi inalagaan din kami ng production team.”
Licauco, on the other hand, said he felt super happy and excited. He is full of gratitude to GMA Network.
“Super happy and excited, especially now na na-move sya sa GMA, mas marami makakanood. So, talagang extremely grateful lang talaga ako sa GMA and sa mga managers ko. I’m just really/ happy and grateful sa opportunity. I hope na di ko mabigo sarili ko. I hope maging maganda yung turnout ng napakita ko.”
Earlier reports said that Heartful Cafe was in GTV’s lineup of shows to look out for this 2021. However, GMA Network executives saw the potential in the series, which resulted in its primetime slot in GMA Network.
Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose and Hunk star David Licauco team up in GMA Network’s newest romantic-comedy teleserye, Heartful Cafe. EA Guzman, Victor Anastacio, Ayra Mariano, Angel Guardian, and newcomers Zonia Mejia and Jamir Zabarte are also in the cast. Mark Sicat dela Cruz will direct the series and will air beginning April 26, right after First Yaya, on GMA Network and GMA Heart of Asia.
