Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda gave boyfriend Ion Perez a boost in order to remain as a host in ABS-CBN’s noontime show, “It’s Showtime”.
On his Twitter, Vice shared that ViceIon became a trending topic on the social media platform. This followed after the show announced that there will be upcoming changes this coming June due to numerous criticism from viewers, including a possible exit of Ion from the show.

Some asserted that hosts such as Ion, Jugs, Teddy, and Vhong Navarro were “problematic” and “useless” hosts, thus should be relieved from hosting.
