Talent manager Lolit Solis has revealed something about celebrity couple Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez who opened a meat shop.
In her Instagram post, Solis reiterated how Padilla admitted that he is having financial difficulties due to the pandemic. Thus, Padilla’s wife, Rodriguez decided to start a meat business to continue supporting their children’s tuition.

“Weekend na naman Salve. Wala pa rin pagbabago nagaganap sa paligid. Kahit nga si Robin Padilla inamin na medyo nasira na ang budget nila ni Mariel Rodriguez kaya pinasok na ang online food business by selling steaks.”
Solis noted that everyone felt the harsh effects of the pandemic and the lockdowns especially those who are not as privileged as the Padillas.
She even admitted that it was a no-brainer that someone prominent as the couple would feel the pains.
“Lahat ngayon nakaka feel ng paghihirap sa income kaya hindi kataka-taka na ang isang Robin Padilla o Mariel Rodriguez gumawa ng paraan, or else mahihirapan talaga.”
Before she ended her post, she threw some shades at actress Andrea Brillantes who celebrated her birthday.
According to Solis, Brillantes, who just turned 18, announced that she received almost Php1 million worth of gifts during these challenging times.
“Kaya bongga si Andrea Brillantes na ibinabalita na almost 1M ang natanggap na mga birtday gifts, yaman ng mga nag regalo ha, bongga!,” Solis wrote.
In March, Andrea celebrated her 18th birthday. Although the actress was not able to hold a grand party for her debut, she received gifts from special people, which she shared during an unboxing video on May 5.
Actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi gave her a Gucci Bag. Not only a luxurious bag, but she also received a Louis Vuitton bag, shoes, and hair clips, a Balenciaga bag, a Gucci belt with a scarf, and a Prada bag.
But the most special was from actress Dimples Romana who promised Andrea to give her a refrigerator.
“Pangarap kong magkaroon ng sariling ref sa kwarto ko. Sinabi ko talaga kay Ate Dimps,” Andrea shared.
