After leaving ABS-CBN last year, is Pokwang now with GMA Network?
On June 2, Pokwang expressed her gratefulness to God via an Instagram post.
Due to God’s other gift, the comedienne said that her prayers [were finally] answered and that she’s blessed.
In the post, she attached a photo where she is inside a dressing room and placed a hashtag “#Backtowork.”

Based on Pokwang’s background, she is in a dressing room of the GMA Annex building.
Last year, Pokwang confirmed that even before the pandemic and the shutdown of ABS-CBN, she already asked for permission to shift to another network, however, she was not given consent by their bosses.
With the non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise, her contract also ended. She pursued her plan of transferring to another network.
Compelled to do so since she is the breadwinner of her family so she had to earn a living for them to survive.
Nonetheless, the comedienne is grateful to her home network, ABS-CBN as her bread and butter for the past 15 years.
When she left ABS-CBN, she moved to TV5 and became part of shows, Fill in the Bank and Chika, Besh!.
Meanwhile, many friends and fans of Pokwang sent their congratulations, saying that she deserves it because of her kind heart.
Some GMA Network artists including Carla Abellana also welcomed her in the comment section.
Is Pokwang hinting that she is now a Kapuso? Pokwang nor the GMA Network has yet to confirm about her rumored transfer.
