There seems to be a trend of artists changing managers recently.
With the much-publicized transfer of John Lloyd Cruz from Star Magic to Crown Artist Management, several artists have also chosen to find another.
According to an article in Abante Tonite’s column Cuatros, several artists have left their managers to join other talent management agencies.
One of the artists named in the article was Jasmine Curtis-Smith who left Bechay Vidanes and transfer to Maja Salvador’s recently launched Crown Artist Management.
Jasmine’s transfer to CAM was announced on their Instagram page on July 12.

Aside from Jasmine, Kapamilya teen star Seth Fedelin is also said to be changing manager. The young actor which is currently co-managed by Star Magic and Mario Colmenares is rumored to be transferring to Becky Aguila, the same manager who handles his love team Andrea Brillantes.
Another artist who chose to find another manager is Kapuso star Carla Abellana.
On January 12, Carla announced that she will now be managed by Popoy Caricativo, the same manager of his real-life partner Tom Rodriguez. Carla’s career was previously managed by Arnold Vegafria of the ALV Talent Circuit.
Aside from Carla, Miss World 2013 Megan Young is also rumored to be planning to leave Vegafria’s ALV Talent Circuit. However, there’s no confirmation yet if Megan’s plan will push through.
