Former Kapamilya star, Beauty Gonzalez expressed her eagerness to learn new things and experience fresh challenges when she found out that she’s starring with mostly young ones in the upcoming romance mini-series Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette as her first GMA Network break after inking a contract with the network.
“I’m really excited to work with young ones, new ones. That’s the only way you could learn also. You learn from your kids, you learn from the young ones nowadays. I’m really excited to just learn with this new group of people,” Beauty said.
Looking forward to the success of the show, Gonzalez stated that it’s a breath of fresh air to work with the production and the network. She is happy to celebrate her upcoming project where she feels elated with the new experiences and learning she can get now that almost all of her co-stars are millennials and Gen Z’s.
“Nagka-cast pa lang sila but sobrang excited ako sa show na ‘to kasi sobrang ibang-iba talaga siya sa ginagawa ko before. Bigyan ko kayo ng konting clue – kung dati lahat ng mga kasama ko medyo may edad na, ngayon naman bagets,” Gonzalez shared.
Meanwhile, Beauty also disclosed that she also considered her husband, Norman Crisologo, to take on her decision to officially sign a contract with Kapuso network.
“Una kong kausap, asawa ko. At first he was like, GMA? Are you sure’? Kasi syempre hindi naman ganoon ka familiar ‘yung asawa ko sa showbiz,” Beauty narrated.
She’s happy that she got support from her partner.
Aside from her husband, she also had the approval from her mother who has been supportive of her showbiz career ever since. It was a coincidence that Beauty and her mother were in Dumaguete when manager, Arnold Vegafria called her to discuss the agreement and offer.
“The time na tinawagan ako ni Arnold, timing talaga nasa province ako with my mom. She was so happy. She was like, ‘Go, go for it, go!’ When something gives you an opportunity, don’t take it for granted. Go for it. That’s a good project. It’s meant to be,” she happily explained.
The actress is looking forward to the things she will offer to the network starting with the project she’s working for the channel.
