Bea Alonzo described her transfer to GMA Network as her career’s rebirth.
On GMA Network official Instagram account, Alonzo shared behind-the-scenes of her contract signing event with Kapuso.
“Parang, may rebirth of some sort. parang, there’s another side of me that was born.”
She also recounted the emotional roller-coaster she went through during her official launch as a Kapuso artist.
“‘Cause kanina, when it was just starting, sa totoo lang, sobra kong kaba. Sobra kong kabado, sobra kong excited, na parang lahat, lahat ng emosyon nilagay mo na sa iisang tao at ako ‘yun kanina.
“Parang habang nangyayari ‘yung mga interviews, after interviews, ‘yung recorded, live, parang unti-unti s’yang napapalitan ng excitement, saya.”
Despite having mixed emotions, Alonzo shared her realizations about the recent changes in her life and career.
“Sa totoo lang, s’yempre change is always terrifying, di ba? Change is scary, but it can also lead us to a place where we can grow, where we can learn. And ‘yun, parang mas nagiging s’yang mas klaro in my head.”
Alonzo began her career as an actress with ABS-CBN in 2002. She then became one of the most sought-after artists of her generation with her unforgettable roles in One More Chance (2007), The Mistress (2012), Four Sisters and a Wedding (2013), A Second Chance (2015), and Unbreakable (2019).
