How will Bea Alonzo’s transfer to Kapuso network affect the homegrown talents?

Former Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo made it official her being a Kapuso through a contract signing with GMA Network.

However, how will an actress of her caliber impact the projects of other Kapuso talents?

GMA Network, Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable clarified that they already have projects lined up for every Kapuso talent.

“Nakalatag na kami actually for the whole of next year. Na-distribute na namin nakapag-discuss na kami with the other artists of GMA kung ano ‘yung gagawin nila na mga soaps and other sitcoms and musicals.”

Rasonable assured that Alonzo’s transfer has no negative impact on GMA Network since they continue to give importance to their talents.

“‘Pero lahat ng aming mga artista mabibigyan namin ng karampatang project. We continue to maintain a comfortable number, so that we will be able to give our artists the importance that they deserve. The projects that we have lined-up for them ay magagawa. Walang negative effect kung di magiging mas maganda ang mga gabi ng GMA.”

Alonzo then revealed about not having an active contract or project with ABS-CBN for a year before transferring to GMA Network.

“And, if I am not mistaken parang one year na rin ako na walang soap na ginagawa and walang contract. It took me many months na pag-iisip, pagre-reflect di ba? Kung ano ‘yung gusto kong gawin sa buhay ko. How do I want to move forward?”

Alonzo started her career with ABS-CBN in 2002. She then became one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation.
