Kapuso star Jo Berry will be seen on TV again, and she’s to star in an upcoming Kapuso series.
Berry, born with dwarfism, is known for her roles in the Kapuso series Onanay (2018) and The Gift (2019).
In her upcoming series, the actress will play the role of a struggling daughter who would enter the world of online gaming to support her family and fulfill her dreams. She would then later find out that she is an heiress.
She would find success in playing the online game Magic Legends as she would receive an endorsement deal from one of the sponsors in the online gaming tournament.
Her character would be involved in a love triangle with Kapuso hunk actors Juancho Trivino and Rodjun Cruz.
The other cast members of the upcoming series will include Angelika Dela Cruz, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Jenine Desiderio, Jestoni Alarcon, and newly transferred Kapuso Tess Antonio.
The said series will be under the direction of L.A. Madridejos and would soon premiere on the Kapuso platforms.
Berry started her acting career in the drama anthology series Magpakailanman. After her stint in the said series, she then became a part of several Kapuso series.
In 2019, she got nominated as the Best New Female TV Personality of the 33rd PMPPC Star Awards for Television for her role in Onanay.
