The Alden Richards Foundation, in partnership with Casino Plus, has officially launched ‘Hero for All: Honoring Stories of the Everyday Filipino,’ a nationwide search recognizing ordinary Filipinos whose acts of kindness uplift communities.

The initiative was unveiled during the ‘Hero for All: First Door Opens’ launch event held at the Fairmont Hotel, hosted by broadcast journalist Pinky Webb and led by actor and advocate Alden Richards.
“Heroes are everywhere—not on pedestals, but in everyday acts of compassion, courage, and service. This game-changing platform goes beyond recognition. It empowers individuals to scale their impact and, through simple acts of kindness, help build communities of heroes,” Casino Plus said in its program rationale.
Launched in celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan, the program aims to redefine heroism by spotlighting grassroots efforts that often go unrecognized and providing a platform to amplify their impact.
Richards emphasized the deeper purpose of the campaign, saying, “I am grateful to partner with Casino Plus in this meaningful initiative. We want to normalize how people see heroes—today, they are everyday Filipinos who, despite their own struggles, still choose to help others.”
Structured as a national search, the program will select 20 outstanding individuals, each of whom will receive a trophy and a share of a total ₱1 million grant. The amount will be allocated between the awardee’s cause and a partner community organization to ensure long-term, sustainable impact.
“Heroism doesn’t end with recognition—it begins when one act inspires another. We are proud to partner with Alden Richards, who embodies the spirit of this movement through the many lives he has quietly touched,” Casino Plus added.
Nominations are open to the public from April 10 to May 1, 2026, through both online and offline channels. Submissions can be made via Casino Plus’ official social media platforms or through physical nomination postcards distributed nationwide, allowing broader participation even in areas with limited internet access.
Participants must provide the nominee’s name, location, and a 150-word description of their act of service, along with supporting materials such as photos, news links, or endorsement letters. Video submissions may also be posted online using the hashtag #CasinoPlusHeroForAll.

All entries will undergo validation and evaluation by a jury panel composed of an academician, a media representative, a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) representative, and Richards himself.
The campaign will culminate in the Grand Hero for All Awarding Ceremony on August 31, 2026, in time for National Heroes Day, marking a nationwide celebration of modern Filipino heroism.
