During GMA Network’s contract renewal with Mavy Legaspi alongside his sister, Cassy, on August 16, he admitted that he left his heart in Sorsogon.
He may have referred it to his co-star in his upcoming series and rumored love interest, Kyline Alcantara.
Mavy confessed that he left his heart in the location where they taped the series as he recalled his parents’ advice about relationships.
“I can’t say much kasi naiwan ko na ‘yung puso ko sa Sorsogon.
“Same thing lang na, love will always be there, love will always come. It will come eventually. If it’s there, then okay. But then ‘yung career talaga, can’t let that go. When the opportunity, arises you can’t let that go.”
After his confession, he shared what it was like working with Alcantara on the set of their upcoming Kapuso series.
“Yes, of course. I’ve known Kyline for the longest time. Syempre ibang scene naman ‘to na teleserye nga variety and Kyline how she is focused. Napakaling din sa variety.
“Ako naman, it’s been a great experience. Kyline is Kyline no matter what. But the greatest part is I get to see her acting side first hand. Napaka-professional din niya. Gina-guide din niya ako. At the same time, not much because syempre, I have to learn on my own also.”
He also described his experience working with the cast of I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
“We just finished our Sorsogon leg, so we have a lot pa to do. We’re so excited for the upcoming scenes that we will do pa.
“Super fun, di ko inexpect na magiging super close kami. But, naging family actually, naging super, super close. I can’t wait for the people to see it on cam because makikita ninyo, napaka-genuine noong closeness noong mga characters namin.”
Earlier, he admitted his attraction toward Alacantara during one of his interviews for his youth-oriented variety show, Flex. He is with Heart Evangelista, Richard Yap, and Paolo Contis in the upcoming Kapuso series, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
