2016 Miss International Kylie Versoza admitted that doing The Housemaid was pretty much wild for her given it was her first-ever lead role in an erotic film.
“Wild pa rin siya,” she admitted in the virtual press conference for the movie, Monday, August 16.
Although it was ‘wild’ as Kylie described it, there were limitations on what she can and cannot do for the movie.
“Nagawa naman natin lahat pero s’yempre as an actress, I still have few restrictions,” she added.
Due to her having constraints, there were some scenes that they were not able to do. However, Versoza assured that it did not affect the film as a whole.
“Nagawa namin lahat ng scenes. May mga hindi lang kami nagawa per scene pero yung essence ng scene, yung point ng scene, at yung lesson ng scene, nagawa namin lahat. Same lang siya,” she explained.
But what is her boyfriend Jake Cuenca’s reaction when she accepted the film?
Cuenca was very supportive of her career decisions. She even described him as her acting mentor or coach.
“With regards to Jake po, I really consider him as my mentor. Sa kanya ako pumupunta kapag may mga advise ako. Minsan nga siya talaga yung tinuturing kong acting coach.
“Siya din yung isa sa mga tao na nag-convince sa’kin na ‘gawin mo yan, magandang project yan.’ At for sure sasamahan n’ya talaga ako na panoorin ito kasi sobrang supportive talaga ni Jake sa career ko.”
