To Have and To Hold’ fell short in maintaining the ratings of Endless Love, the show that preceded the newest Kapuso series.
It premiered on September 27 as part of the Network’s Telebabad line-up, taking over the 8:50 pm timeslot.
Its pilot episode managed to land on the fourth spot of the rating chart released by AGB Nielsen with a 9.5% rating.
Despite its considerably high ratings, it was not able to sustain the ratings of its previous show, the rerun of the 2010 GMA Network series Endless Love, which starred the celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
Endless Love’s finale episode earned an 11.6% rating. It gave about a 2% difference from the current show’s ratings.
In terms of online views, To Have and To Hold also trailed behind the YouTube views of Endless Love. Endless Love’s finale episode had around 1 million views as of writing, while To Have and To Hold has 140k views.
