PBB: Connect ex-housemates Gail Banawis, Ella Cayabyab, Ralph Malibunas shared their thoughts on their reunion with the WeTV project, Pasabuy.
During the exclusive interviews with RAWR Nation, Gail, Ella, and Ralph shared their thoughts on working with their fellow PBB: Connect housemates.
Ella noted expressed her joy in working with Gail and Ralph, adding that she felt more comfortable working in the set of Pasabuy because of the two.
“Sobrang saya po kasi syempre, kasi kumbaga nakasama ko na po sila sa iisang bahay. Ang komportable ng paggalaw ko. Alam niyo po ‘yung feeling na ah okay sige kasama ko ‘to. Mga kaibigan ko kaya hindi ako mahihiya.
“Hindi ako maiilang sa ibang co-artist. Sobrang saya ko kasi ‘yung dalawang taong ito sobrang close din po kami nito. Tapos malapit din po sila sa akin. And happy ako na sila ‘yung nakasama ko project na ito.”
As for Gail, she recalled their time inside the PBB house. She said that she feels proud of them for landing their roles in the WeTV series.
“It’s like I feel really proud ’cause there was a time sa PBB din mismo na kaming tatlo ang hindi napili to get like partners, or to get any extra help from other housemates.
“And the very fact na we were chosen here, it says something that na, just because we weren’t chosen doon sa PBB, doesn’t mean that we’re not worthy of being chosen in the outside world.
“And dito naman talaga ‘yung totoong laban, di ba? So, really heartwarming to see all of us grow from how we were sa PBB until now. It is so gratifying, and I’m excited for all three of us.”
Ralph echoed Gail’s recollection of their time in the PBB house, noting that their growth as artists amazes him.
“Actually, super close po talaga kami. Nakaka-amaze lang kasi lagi ko pong sinasabi ‘to na, mayroon pong part sa bahay ni Kuya na hindi kami pinili. Task po ‘yun eh, kaming tatlo po ‘yung hindi pinili.
“So grabe, tapos ito sa outside world kami po ‘yung pinili para mapasama po dito sa Pasabuy. Sobrang naa-amaze po ako kapag naalala ko po ‘yung ganap na po ‘yun sa bahay ni kuya. Pero, ito ngayon. Ito na po kami. Kaya po sobrang nagpapasalamat po kami.”
Pasabuy is a six-episode WeTV original series starring Gino Roque and Heaven Peralejo. The series follows the story of John (Gino) and Anna (Heaven), who falls for each other during lockdowns. Joining the two are Gail, Ella, and Ralph in their first acting roles.
