On Tuesday, November 9, Marian Rivera admitted that she still is not sure whether she can return to doing drama series with the pandemic still going on.
“Ang hirap kasi na sabihin ko na on the spot oo o hindi. Depende pa rin kasi ‘yan sa magiging sitwasyon at protocol ng GMA. Kasi kung kaunting araw lang naman, bakit hindi ‘di ba? Let’s compromise,” said Rivera during the virtual media conference for Tadhana‘s 4th year anniversary.
Rivera, however, rejects the idea of being apart from her children for a long time, especially if she has to return to acting.
“Pero kung katulad nang locked in taping, mawawala ako ng isang buwan, para sa mga anak ko, medyo mahirap ‘yan para sa akin.
“Dahil s’yempre ang mga anak ko umaasa ‘yan sa akin, si Zia nag-aaral, si Sixto sa akin. So mahihirapan ako. Pero tignan natin baka naman next year mas okay na, mas smooth na ito, at alam na natin kung paano diskartehan, so tignan natin,” the actress pointed.
But when the time comes that she will return to television, Rivera said she is willing to work with John Lloyd Cruz, who is rumored to become a Kapuso as well as Bea Alonzo.
“Why not ‘di ba? Sure! Ako pa ba? Kahit sino sa akin, walang masamang tinapay sa akin. Kung ano ang ibigay ng GMA, kung sino ang i-partner nila at kasama ko, ay nako, I look forward to that.”
In the meantime, Rivera is busy hosting the drama anthology series Tadhana and has a surprise for its viewers as part of the show’s fourth anniversary.
“Tapos ang maganda pa n’yan, dahil sa anibersaryo namin ay mamimigay ang Tadhana ng House and Lot,” she revealed.
