Baby Blue, a sub-unit of MNL48, releases its 4th single entitled “Heads Up”.
After successful launching three (3) singles in the past, the MNL48 sub-unit had divided into a different song genre. The newest single is a ballad song that is more sentimental and talks about life not always bright and happy when you have the right people on your side everything is going to be alright.
To add this wonderful announcement, Baby Blue has signed a record label contract with Japan’s Dreamusic Inc. ( https://dreamusic.co.jp) with which we have a partnership for the release and promotion in Japan market.
Baby Blue is truly honored and extremely excited for future projects with Dreamusic.

Coleen shares her thoughts about their 4th single, “Heads up gives us a very chill and relaxing vibe which made it one of my favorite Baby Blue song. I can relate to it, like me singing it to our Fans (Babyloves) and motivating them and telling them that everything is going to be alright and that no matter what challenges they’re going through right now they won’t be alone cause I’ll always be by their side.”
She also shares her feelings about shooting the MV, “Shooting Heads up’s MV is one of my favorite music video shoot experience even though we had a 2-day shoot, the production crew still manages to make it smooth and chill, making it easy for us to work. My favorite moment while doing the music video was when we’re on our first location because we had a lot of time to prepare and the scenes there were so chilling, so you guys better watch out!”
Message to fans: “Thank you all for always showing us your love and support. We promise to give our best in everything we do ‘cause you guys deserve the best. I love you and take care always!
Jan shares her thoughts and experiences: “For me, our song ‘Head up’ is all about appreciating the blessings of life, that we can still get up every day to live even if we have gloomy days. For me we only need to learn how to motivate ourselves, we shouldn’t lose hope.”
On doing the Music Video: “It’s a very memorable experience because we had different set up and wardrobe this time. I could not get over to the fact that the first time I’ll be wearing a crop top is with Baby Blue, I’m very conscious about my physical appearance, I’m worried at first but thanks to the members and coaches for motivating me and helping me gain my confidence more.”
“I couldn’t think of one favorite moment, it’s hard to choose because I love all the set up! But I guess, on my personal choice, it would be the house scene because it suits my vibe, but for the three of us, I like us in one frame in the car scene, it is meaningful to me, it’s like we are on our way in getting to our dreams while we are hoping and singing together.”
A message to fans: “Thank you so much for always giving us your back, without everyone’s kindness we can’t go far to where we are now. But of course, the road that we are taking is still long, please promise us that you will stay because we promise that we will do our best get to our goals as a group. What we are doing is for you and we hope to make you proud even more.”
Amy shares also: “Heads up is a song that will make you feel safe and relaxed. It will cheer you up. It tells us that it’s okay to be not okay sometimes. No one is perfect in this world. So, keep your heads up and just look at the sky yeah!!!! ‘Cause everything’s going to be okay! This is perfect for the ones who feel down lately.”
“We had so much fun during the shoot, we always enjoyed doing music videos together with the production. Staffs are so kind that’s why we feel comfortable to act, sing, and dance in front of the camera. Even our coaches were so amazed on how we act and vibe with the music they are look happy because they saw how matured we are on this music video. My favorite moment is the one where we are in the bedroom. Of all the scenes of baby blue mine was the most relaxing, the bed was so comfortable I almost slept on it, I don’t feel much pressure because of that. I just feel that I’m in my bedroom haha”
“My message to our fans, I am so honored to be here and grateful to all my supporters. To amynamics, mnloves, of course babyloves, I’m overwhelmed to all the love that you’ve shown me until now and I promise to all of you that you guys are part of my prayers, I always pray to God that may he guide you and lead you to the right path. Thank you so much for making me feel so special even on my cloudiest days. I love you guys so much! please keep supporting baby blue”
