Former Kapamilya actor Xian Lim expressed how contented he is as part of GMA network’s roster of talents on Thursday, December 16, but his co-star Glaiza de Castro was “skeptical.”
“Ako, paulit-ulit ko sinasabihan sina Glaiza and our bosses here na I am so grateful to be given the opportunity. Yun lang talaga.
“And I’m very happy kung nasaan man ako ngayon. If they do decide na bigyan pa ako ng proyekto, I’ll be here for them. Dahil napakabuti ng pinapakita nila and vice versa. Wow! Vice versa! Hahaha!” he said in the virtual media conference of his upcoming teleserye False Positive.
De Castro said they were “urging” the actor to choose GMA Network for years to come.
“Oo, kinekwentuhan namin siya na dito sa Kapuso, ganito kami dito eh. Hahaha! S’yempre binibida ko na,” she joked.
De Castro further jested that Lim has already noticed the difference in the working environment, saying, “Pero nakikita naman niya ang difference. Kasi mas nagkaroon siya ng maraming friends. Joke lang hahaha!”
Lim signed with GMA Network earlier in August, and for his first project as a Kapuso, he starred in the upcoming series with actress Jennylyn Mercado in Love. Die. Repeat. However, due to an unexpected circumstance, Mercado got pregnant it postponed the show.
Rather, Lim was given False Positive as his debut project in the Kapuso network.
Direk Irene Villamor directs the show and she also gets to direct Love. Die. Repeat.
The romantic-comedy series is slated for 2022 and also includes Nova Villa, Tonton Gutierrez, Rochelle Pangilinan, Dominic Roco, Buboy Villar, Herlene “Hipon” Budol, Luis Hontiveros, and Yvette Sanchez.
