Jodi Sta. Maria impressed viewers with her acting skills in the pivotal Broken Marriage Vow scene on Monday, January 31.
The episode showed how her character, Jill, felt the pain when she found out that her husband, David (Zanjoe Marudo), was having an affair because of a bag hidden in the trunk of his car.
The bag contained a pack of condoms and a secret phone he only uses to contact his mistress, Lexy (Sue Ramirez).
She also discovered that her supposed close friends had been aware of David cheating all along. Jill had a glimpse of her husband’s birthday party, which included the friends who had broken her trust, as well as Lexy. Jill also caught sight of David and Lexy holding hands during the celebration.
The scene had no dialogue but Sta. Maria conveyed Jill’s feelings impressively.
