Rumors surface that Toni Gonzaga is now a talent of Manny Villar’s Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS) on Channel 2.
Recently, Gonzaga faced backlash from some of her fellow Kapamilyas after she hosted the proclamation rally of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on February 8.
After 16 years, she stepped down as the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) main host on February 9.
On her current issues with ABS-CBN, netizens claimed that the singer-host-turned vlogger might transfer to AMBS.
On Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog on February 14, he said that Gonzaga’s transfer is possible because of Mark Villar’s support.
“Nabalita rin na sinusuportahan ni Secretary Mark Villar si Toni Gonzaga. Ang iniisip ng iba, baka i-welcome din si Toni bilang isa sa talents ng AMBS,” said Ogie.
On February 10, former DPWH Secretary and senatorial candidate Mark Villar posted a photo with Gonzaga where he expressed his gratitude toward her.
The rumors then came that Villar invited Gonzaga to transfer to AMBS.
On the other hand, Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi said that AMBS is still not recruiting for talents as the media company still does not have transmitters around the country.
