In a matter of three months after she surpassed 1 billion streams in December, the Kapamilya singer has reportedly breached 1.25 billion streams on Spotify.

Moira de la Torre just became the second Filipino act to surpass 1.25 billion streams on Spotify, after the OPM pop-folk band, Ben & Ben. The feat also makes her the only solo artist to have more than one billion on the platform, across all song credits. She remains the most followed artist on the platform with 6.8 million followers, as of this writing.

A regular performer on ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin ‘To, de la Torre was first announced to have breached 1 billion streams on the platform by her record label, Star Music in December 2021.

Her most-streamed tracks remain Tagpuan with 97.6 million streams, Ikaw At Ako with 86.7 million streams, Malaya with 86.1 million streams, Paubaya with 59.8 million streams, and Torete with 53.7 million streams.

Her studio album, Malaya, keeps its place as the most-streamed Filipino album with more than 400 million streams as of December 2021. These figures are according to social media and streaming analytics tool–chartmasters.

Moira de la Torre’s monthly listeners are currently at 2.49 million, making her the fifth most listened-to-artist in the country, after Zack Tabudlo (4.64 million), Ben & Ben (2.82 million), Lea Salonga (2.6 million), and Arthur Nerry (2.57 million).

The 28-year-old singer-song writer is yet to release a new album.

The last time she released a full-length studio album was in 2020 when Star Music released Patawad, whose Deluxe edition carried her smash hit, Paubaya. In 2021, where she collaborated with Ben & Ben to record the single, Pasalubong. It remains her most recently-released single, to date.

With her latest feat on Spotify, de la Torre is adding yet another historic milestone in her massively-successful career.

To date, she has released three studio albums, an EP (extended play), and seventeen total singles. The music video of Paubaya is also one of the most viewed music videos by a Filipino act on YouTube, last year. It has recently surpassed 71 million views.
