The Filipina beauty queen failed to hold back the tears when a Vice Ganda asked her about relationship challenges.
Kylie Verzosa became emotional yesterday, April 19, on It’s Showtime, when Vice Ganda talked about signs of a failing relationship, with Showtime SexyBabe contestant, Jannarose Campaner.
“Paano mo malalaman, pag nasa isang sitwasyon ka na parang ang bigat bigat at ang hirap hirap…paano mo malalaman kung ang sitwasyon na ‘yon ay isang pagsubok lamang o isa nang sign? (How do you know if a heavy and difficult situation in your relationship is just a challenge that needs to be overcome, or already a sign for breaking up)” he asked.
The comedian-host went on to saying, “Kasi minsan confusing ‘yan eh. Eto ba ay isang pagsubok lang ulit na bukas lalampasan namin, o sign na ito na para tapusin na (Because it is confusing sometimes, right? Is this just the usual challenge that you know you can overcome the next day, or is this already a sign to end the relationship).”
Vice Ganda then asked the same question to the limited studio audience, before throwing the question to Verzosa, who appeared to have been caught off-guard with her reaction.
“Aminin n’yo nag-iisip kayo… si Kylie parang nag-isip. May pinagdadaanan ka bang challenge o may nakikita kang sign (Admit it, that made you think. Look at Kylie…are you going through a challenge, or are you waoiting for a sign)?” the comedian-host asked.
The question made Verzosa visibly pause for a while, before turning up emotional. Vice Ganda, who was also surprised by the beauty queen’s unexpected reaction, promptly headed to the judges’ area to comfort Verzosa.
Ruffa Gutierrez, who was just beside her, was also quick to offer her a hug and comfort.
Vice Ganda was being nice not to inquire what the beauty queen’s reaction was about and assumed that Verzosa may just have been affected by the contestant’s answer.
“Wag naman tayong mag-iisip na may pinagdadaanan baka may naisip lang sia…minsan di ba kahit tayo, na-aaffect tayo? (But let’s not conclude hastily..she may be just thinking about something. That happens to most of us, when someone’s story affects us?)” he said.
Netizens, however, are quick to speculate that maybe the beauty-queen-turned-actress and her current boyfriend Jake Cuenca are going through a rough patch in their relationship.
Verzosa made her fans and netizens think when posted a cryptic one-word tweet on Easter Sunday, April 17.
