Via a facebook comment on Monday, April 18, senatorial candidate and Atty. Salvador ‘Sal’ Panelo agreed to Robin Padilla’s request for his joint concert with Sharon Cuneta to benefit ‘children with special needs’.
Padilla asked Vic Del Rosario, the owner of Viva Records and Viva Films if the joint concert is possible.
“Ano kaya tatay boss Vic ng Viva Films, isang concert sa pagitan ni kambal mam Sharon Cuneta Pangilinan at ni sir sec Salvador ‘Sal Panalo’ Panelo para sa mga special children at maging hudyat na kilusan ng mga senador at magiging senador na makagawa ng panukalang batas para sa kapakanan ng mga batang may special needs,” Padilla wrote.
In the comments section of his post, Panelo responded, “Game ako d’yan Senator Robin! Maraming salamat sa suporta mo!”
Padilla then showed his support for Panelo by saying, “Salvador “Sal Panalo” Panelo Ikaw po ang senador ko po.”
Panelo said he recorded his version of Cuneta’s Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas under Viva Records on Tuesday, March 29, in dedication “to parents and families of children with disabilities (CWD).”
Cuneta earlier called him out for singing one of her signature songs and that is the aforementioned song.
