During a media conference on Wednesday, May 18, Concert Queen Pops Fernandez asked everyone to stop fighting over the results of the May 2022 elections.
Fernandez stressed that all Filipinos want the same thing for our country, which is an improvement.
“At the end of the day, iisa lang naman ang gusto natin sa ating bayan. Gusto natin makakita ng napakalaking improvement para sa atin.
“Ang nakalimutan po natin is lahat po tayo, magkababayan. Lahat po tayo Pilipino so iisa lang po yung pagnanasa nating makamtan.
“Sana po walang away,” Fernandez stated.
She also said that we should respect each other.
“Nagawa na po yung choice so I think, we have to respect that and again, dapat po magrespetuhan sa isa’t isa.”
Fernandez was among the celebrities who performed during the grand miting de avance of presumptive president Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and presumptive vice-president Sara Duterte.
She also supported the vice-presidential campaign of her godfather and Senate-President Tito Sotto III.
Fernandez’s US concert tour with Hadji Alejandro, Rey Valera, Nonoy Zuniga, and Marco Sison titled Four Kings and A Queen will begin in July 2022.
