On May 5, Tony Labrusca talked about falling in love with someone at the wrong time at the media conference for his Vivamax movie, Breathe Again.
Labrusca shared the life lessons he learned from his character in the upcoming Vivamax movie.
“Sa character ko naman, sometimes we meet the right person, but at the wrong time. Or you fall inlove, but bawal pala. And, masarap talaga pag mayroon kang makilala na nakakaintindi sayo, masarap magmahal kahit saglit lang ayun.”
Labrusca has kept his love life away from the public eye throughout his showbiz career.
As for his movie, Labrusca shared details regarding their filming process while on the set of Breathe Again.
“Pag gumagawa po ako ng ganong eksena, medyo gets ko na po kung anong mangyayari or paano ko siguro iaattack. Lagi lang po akong nahihiya minsan sa co-actor ko kung ano ‘yung gusto nila or ano ‘yung kaya nila or saan sila komportable.
“Pero, ‘yung sa amin kasi ni Ara, medyo nakakatawa siya kasi may mga eksena kami, buong araw kami na nasa dagat. So medyo nagpapaalam na kami sa isa’t isa, na ‘oy medyo maalat na ako, baka pag hinalikan mo ako dito medyo salty na.'”
He then described working with his co-stars and the director as ‘chill.’
“And ‘yun nga, I think nakatulong din na nasa dagat kami. Sobrang saya kasi kasama sila Direk, sila Mamu, ang bait nung prod, so chill vibes lang, every one was so fun to work with.
“Yeah, I mean I look up to her with such a high regard kasi title holder. Sabi ko, ‘shucks, sabi ko dapat ingatan ko ‘yung mga sinasabi ko.’ Pero, wala sobrang chill lang ni Ara, masaya po sila lahat kasama. Sobra akong nag-enjoy sa pelikulang ito.”
Labrusca stars in the Viva movie Breathe Again, alongside Ariella Arida and Ivan Padilla. Directed by Raffy Francisco, Breathe Again streams on Vivamax on June 3, 2022.
