On June 9, Viva artists Rose Van Ginkel and Marco Gallo considered Kitty K7 their most daring role yet.
During the media conference for Kitty K7, Van Ginkel hinted how sexy her scenes would be in the Vivamax movie.
“Yes po, siguro po ito na po ‘yung pinakamalala. Kasi, baka hanggang ano lang po talaga ganito lang po ‘yung pwede kong i-offer kasi hindi na po talaga kaya ‘yung mga baba, ganyan. Kung ano po ‘yung mapapanood sa Kitty, baka hanggang doon lang talaga.”
Gallo echoed Van Ginkel’s statement, citing how he viewed his body as a part of the story when he would accept daring roles.
“It is the most daring thing that I have ever done in my life. It was hard, and in a way, because it was something that you do for the first time. And at the same time, you have to do it good because you have to do it well for the camera, as well as for the project.
“It’s more about the story. If the story sells to me–then you can get me to do anything. But if the story doesn’t have it, then I’m just /going to accept it. But I think your body, it becomes a part of the story. It’s not your body anymore.”
While hinting at her upcoming projects, Van Ginkel admitted that she still had things to learn in acting and showbiz.
“Actually, hindi ko pa po masyadong nafe-feel. Kasi every day po pagdating naman po sa ganitong work, parang feeling ko, ang dami ko pang pwedeng matutunan. Ang dami pang pwedeng mangyari. Sa ngayon po, ang nafi-feel ko lang talaga, nag-iistart pa lang po ako. So ayun excited ako sa mga upcoming pang mga project na magpapa-grow pa sa akin lalo.”
She also highlighted her sexiest scenes in the movie, especially the self-pleasuring scene, which she considered challenging.
“Mas madami kasi, mayroon akong– ang pinakamahirap kong ginawa kasi dito talaga ‘yung magsarili ako. So ‘yun ‘yung pinaka mahirap kong ginawa. Kasi, kapag may partner ka, mas madali eh, mas madali kayong mag bigayan ng feeling. Ito po pag mag-isa ka, mahirap po talaga. Ito ‘yung po ‘yung masasabi ko na isa sa mga pinaka nahirapan ako na sana naman naging mukhang totoo.”
As for the theme of Kitty K7, Van Ginkel said she doesn’t judge online adult content providers, especially if she doesn’t know the whole story.
“Ako po talaga, ever since po kasi ‘yun nga naniniwala ako na lahat naman ng tao may dahilan kung bakit nila ginagawa ‘yun. Like before nga po, laging kong iniisip ‘yung mga pokpok mga ganon, iniisip ko na mas mabuti pa sila nakapag-ano sa guy, may natatanggap na pera.
“Hindi natin alam kung para sa family nila ‘yun or tinutulong nila sa family nila or pinapakain nila sa family nila, kaisa naman ‘yung isang babae na pupunta sa bar na iinom lang tapos may ka-keme na. So for me parang doon ako mas okay.”
“Mas na-amaze ako sa ganong tao kasi hindi naman madaling magdecide na di ba maging ganon, at magkapera, at ipakain sa pamilya. Ako never talaga ako nag-judge, mas mabuti na alamin na lang natin.”
Gallo confessed that he does tend to stereotype people who work in the sex industry.
“I don’t judge people, but I definitely stereotype. So, you know, I usually go out in bars and usually the first questions of like talking, what do you do. Usually, you always hear average jobs, but sometimes I’ve /heard people that do stripping, for as like a life. But they were people from L.A.
“When I hear stuff like that, or more out of the ordinary, I definitely, have that stereotype of, ‘Okay this person, usually tends to do more vulgar jokes.’ Like what I’m saying, it’s in my head because that I how I grew up in society, but that doesn’t mean I judge somebody by it. My approach to them doesn’t change.”
As for their filming experience, Van Ginkel and Gallo recalled working with each other in the Vivamax movie, Gluta.
“Well, nagka-work na po kami ni Marco before, doon po sa Gluta,” told Van Ginkel.
“And I think that factor made it even more awkward. I would’ve rather just met you and do this because knowing you already and doing it–(doing) that was more awkward for me,” Marco responded.
Van Ginkel also hinted at the awkward moments while filming their sexy scenes.
“‘Yun nagka-work kami sa Gluta pero saglit lang, parang one scene lang ‘yung eksena namin dalawa. Noong una medyo nagkailangan kami, kasi ako, ang agwat kasi namin ni Marco five years. Tapos sabi ko, ‘shit parang ate na ako nito tapos ganito ‘yung gagawin naming dalawa.’ So pinapasok ko pa ‘yun sa isip ko, sige magka-age muna kami.
“Noong una nagkahiyaan kami, pero every workshop po talagang tinatry namin nila Direk Dan and nila Direk Joy. Minemake sure nila na hindi kami mailang sa isa’t isa. Kaya ‘yung first activity na ginawa naming dalawa as in ‘yung magkayakap lang kami, natitigan lang kami, nag-uusap lang kami, hinahayaan lang nila kami na ganon, para maging komportable din kami sa isa’t isa.”
She also recounted one specific sequence she had with Gallo that she found funny.
“Doon sa mga love scenes na ginawa namin, kasi si Marco kasi matangkad siya, and ako medyo maliit. So mayroon kaming ginawang Asian position daw sabi ni Direk, na ‘yung legs niya nakaganon tapos doon ako nakapatong, which is nandoon sa trailer. Tapos sobrang sakit na sakit si Marco na to the point na sinabi na niya na, ‘Direk, ang sakit!’ Sobrang tawang-tawa ako.
“Ginawa namin ni Marco, tinulungan naman niya ako, and first time niya mag-love scene. So masaya ako kasi pumayag siya na gawin ‘yung first time niya sa akin. Kaya sobrang na-touch ako.”
Gallo, on the other hand, narrated one of the scenes he regarded as ‘kilig’ moments.
“I didn’t know that you were so grateful that you were my first one on screen. I mean medyo kinilig ako doon.
“She says she’s 25, but she kisses like she’s 16. And I was like, while doing the scene, I was like, ‘Bro, I think I need to teach you how to.’ But I was joking. She’s definitely putting me on the scene every single time–I’m glad for it.”
Van Ginkel and Gallo Jean Kiley star in the upcoming Vivamax movie, Kitty K7, alongside Viva artist Jean Kiley.
Directed by Joy Aquino and produced by Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas, the sexy film premieres on the Vivamax streaming platform on July 8, 2022.
