On July 15, Viva artist Cloe Barreto admitted that she requested to have a love scene with Tahan co-star JC Santos.
At the media conference for Tahan, Barreto confirmed her request to movie director Bobby Bonifacio.
“‘Yung totoo po ni request ko ‘yan. Di ba Direk?”
In response, screenwriter-Viva artist Quinn Carillo said she refused Barreto’s request.
“Hindi po ako pumayag. Ni-request nila ‘yun.”
Barreto then recalled how she pushed to have an intimate scene with Santos.
Santos reacted to Barreto’s revelation by saying, ‘Thank You.’
“Di ko po alam kung paano magre-react. Di ko po alam–ah Thank You.”
As for Santos, he expressed how proud he was of their psycho-thriller.
I’m proud that I’m part of this. It’s a great thing, actually ang tapang ng pelikula namin. Sobrang tapang.”
As for working with Barreto, Santos joked that he’s now scared of the Viva artist because of her portrayal in Tahan.
“I’m grateful na kasama ako sa ganitong pelikula, and even ito (Cloe Barreto), nakita ‘yung trabaho niya and ‘yung kabuuan ng ginawa niya sa pelikulang ‘to. It’s a–I love it.”
Cloe Barreto and JC Santos star in the psycho-thriller Tahan alongside the award-winning seasoned actress Jaclyn Jose.
The Vivamax original movie also includes AJ Oyteza, Karl Medina, and Marc Cardona.
Produced by Mentorque Productions and Viva, directed by Bobby Bonifacio, and written by Quinn Carillo, Tahan premieres on July 22 via Vivamax.
