Former child actor EJ Jallorina is set to make her debut in GMA Network with the series ‘What We Could Be’.
The Quantum Films series will premiere on the Kapuso channel this August on its primetime block, GMA Telebabad.
The series will mark Jallorina’s first appearance on the GMA network since she entered showbiz in the early 2000s.
Other cast members for the upcoming Kapuso rom-com series include Sparkle artists Ysabel Ortega, Miguel Tanfelix, and Yasser Marta.
Jallorina will portray the role of Ysabel’s best friend in the series.
EJ Jallorina started her career in the ABS-CBN network with the now-defunct kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. She was among the first batch of graduates of Goin’ Bulilit.
Jallorina came out as gay in 2018, to which she slowly transitioned to being a transwoman. She now identifies herself as trans non-binary but said that she appreciates when people approach her as feminine.
She previously starred in several indie films like Pisay, Vhagets, and New Moon. She also starred in the Regal Films Manay Po: Overload, Bahay Kubo: A Pinoy Mano Po, and Love Is Blind.
She was also a part of several TV series like May Bukas Pa, Mga Anghel Na Walang Langit, Mara Clara, Growing Up, Walang Hanggan, Princess And I, and Pintada.
