Rose Van Ginkel, star of the latest Vivamax sexy movie Kitty K7, had to point out on Friday, July 8, that if porn actors are dirty, so should sexy stars.
“For me, hindi. Since kami, artists ngayon, kapag iniisip ganoon, parang gano’n din kami. Eh di dirty din kasi siyempre kami nagpo-portray ng character eh di ibig sabihin parang ganoon din,” Ginkel explained during the press conference of the movie.
The sexy actress, having an open mind, argued, “May iba’t-iba tayong opinyon sa bawat sitwasyon, and ako naman open ako sa ganoong sitwasyon. So for me, kung saan ka kumportable, kung saang bagay ka masaya, and alam mo ‘yun, kung hindi ka naman [nakakatapak] ng ibang tao.”
She also wished that the Philippines would someday normalize and not discriminate against individuals who are in the porn industry.
Although she accepts it as a profession, Ginkel does not encourage the public to do what her character in the movie does.
“Kasi especially sa Facebook na everytime pino-promote ko din, madaming nagko-comment na parang dahil daw ako ang gumanap parang ine-encourage ko, hindi, hindi.
“Hindi siya okay na para sa lahat gawin ‘to. Pero kung saan ka masaya, kung okay ka dito, walang sapilitan. Importante, masaya ka, kumportable ka. Hindi mo kailangang pilitin ‘yung mga bagay.”
Kitty K7 revolves around a camgirl named Kitty (Ginkel) and a photographer named Krishan (Marco Gallo) whose lives become intertwined after having a one-night stand. The film is directed by Joy Aquino, under the production firm Project 8.
The film was also based on a real-life cam girl Salome Salvi who started on the social media platform Twitter.
Kitty K7 is already available on Vivamax.
