Jane de Leon reacted to the Netizens’ comments saying she doesn’t deserve the Darna role.
At the grand press conference of Darna on August 8, Jane De Leon shared her sentiments over the negative comments she has been getting.
“Una talaga sobrang apektado ako, nung nag-uumpisa ako sa Darna, hindi ko alam kung paano ko iha-handle. Kasi siyempre, from baguhang artista, sino ba ako? May mga questions din ako sa sarili ko.
“But slowly, with my family and friends, sinusuportahan nila ako. Kahit may isang tao lang na naniniwala sa akin, pinu-push ko ang sarili ko.
De Leon admitted that she was affected by the criticisms she received and confessed that she did not know how to handle them at first.
“With that, I believe naman may point din naman ang ating mga bashers na wala daw akong dating or what. San daw ba ako galing? Yun talaga ang una, san daw ako galing?
“Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit ako ang napili. Basta ako, ibinigay ko lang ang best ko and nag-audition ako. Dumaan talaga ako sa proseso and pinaghirapan ko yun.”
She shared that her family and friends are the ones who support her, saying that she is giving her best in everything.
