Along with Michelle Aldana and Leandro Baldemor, actress Jean Garcia will return to the GMA Afternoon Prime through a new Kapuso family drama series titled Nakarehas Na Puso.
Garcia will play the character of Amelia Galang, an ex-convict. She is a mother of four children, namely Lea, Miro, Nonoy, and Olive.
After being imprisoned, Galang will find out that her best friend Doris, the character to be played by Aldana, and her husband Jack, the character to be played by Baldemor, are now living together. Her children now despise her.
Garcia, Aldana, and Baldemor will be joined by other Kapuso stars Vaness Del Moral, Edgar Allan Guzman, Claire Castro, Ashley Sarmiento, Bryce Eusebio, Chanel Latorre, Marnie Lapuz, Analyn Barro, and Dang Cruz.
Directed by Gil Tejada, Jr., Nakarehas Na Puso aims to teach televiewers the values of humility, forgiveness, and love.
Garcia is known for her most famous role in the soap opera Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2000), where she portrayed the original antagonist Madame Claudia Buenavista.
Her other projects included Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2002), Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Impostora (2007), La Vendetta (2007), Majika (2006), among others.
