On his vlog uploaded on Friday, September 2, Ogie Diaz reacted to Joshua Garcia and Gabbi Garcia’s rumored upcoming GMA Network and ABS-CBN series.
Diaz assumed that the awaited partnership of the GMA network and ABS-CBN might happen through the rumored series of the two stars.
“Pero ‘yung napipintong pagsasanib-pwersa ng GMA saka ng ABS-CBN, sa pamamagitan ni Joshua Garcia at Gabbi Garcia, bubuo daw ng isang teleserye,” Diaz said.
He shared that Dreamscape Entertainment, the television production company and entertainment division of ABS-CBN Corporation, is rumored to produce the series.
“At ang Dreamscape daw ang siyang mamamahala ng production,” the talent manager also shared. “Saan kaya ito ilalabas? Simultaneous?” Mama Loi wondered.
Diaz reacted, “Ayan ang abangan naman natin, kung gaanong katotoo iyan? Kung ito’y totoo man, ay ito’y umpisa na, diba, ng pagsasanib-pwersa.”
“Talagang hindi pa rin nahihinto ang ABS-CBN sa kanilang commitment sa taong-bayan na bigyan ng makubuluhang entertainment ang taong-bayan sa ayaw at sa gusto ng iba,” he added.
According to an article by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Joshua was chosen to lead the show, with Gabbi as GMA Network’s chosen talent. This will be the opening salve for the collaboration between broadcasting giants ABS-CBN and GMA Network. This may be in line with ABS-CBN and GMA Network’s plan to do a project together.
