GMA Network reiterated its support for Bea Alonzo, saying they do not tolerate slander against her.
On October 14, the Network posted its official statement defending Alonzo from false claims against her.
“Nananatiling buo ang suporta at pagpapahalaga ng GMA Network kay Ms. Bea Alonzo bilang isang aktres at aming Kapuso.
“Masaya kami sa magandang pagtanggap ng Filipino audience sa Start-Up PH at sa mahusay na pagganap ni Bea sa kaniyang role katambal ni Alden Richards.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa fans, supporters, at followers ni Bea at ng GMA Network sa patuloy na pagmamahal.
“Wala sa kultura ng Kapuso ang paninira sa kahit sino man at hindi rin namin pinapayagan na pagsalitaan ng hindi totoo ang aming mga artista at programa.
“Maliit ang industriya ng show business, hangad namin ang masaya, mabuti, at maayos na pakikitungo sa bawat isa,” they captioned.

The Network did not disclose the slander thrown against Alonzo and the person behind it.
On October 6, Alonzo revealed why she chose not to respond to Lolit Solis’s criticisms. She said the latter is sick.
On October 7, via an Instagram post, Solis aired her sentiments regarding Alonzo.
“Bongga sagot ni Bea Alonzo sa tanong tungkol sa akin Salve. Ok iyon sinabi niya na ipinagdarasal niya na gumaling ako, thank you. Ang hindi niya sinagot iyon tanong tungkol sa pag-cancel sa invitation ng Beautederm. Either hindi niya alam or umiwas siya talagang sagutin,” Solis said.
In March 2022, Alonzo allegedly prevented Solis from attending a beauty brand press conference.
Solis revealed that it was her first time to be ‘canceled’ at a press conference.
