On October 6, Thursday, Bea Alonzo revealed why she chose not to respond to Lolit Solis’s criticisms, she said the latter is sick.
“I will never reply because hindi ko naman nababasa what she writes about me. People just tell me about it. But I respect her so much. Although we’ve never met, we’ve never been introduced to or spoken to each other.”
Alonzo admitted she respects Solis despite the negative things being said to her by the latter. She prays for Solis’s healing.
“I heard she’s sick at lalo na akong hindi sasagot, dadalhin ko pa yan parang ang bigat-bigat. Let’s just stay positive. I will sincerely pray for her healing and for her to get well soon,” she said.
Although Alonzo wished for Solis’s healing, the veteran showbiz columnist brought back her issue with the Start-Up PH star.
On October 7, via an Instagram post, Solis aired her sentiments regarding Alonzo.
“Bongga sagot ni Bea Alonzo sa tanong tungkol sa akin Salve. Ok iyon sinabi niya na ipinagdarasal niya na gumaling ako, thank you. Ang hindi niya sinagot iyon tanong tungkol sa pag-cancel sa invitation ng Beautederm. Either hindi niya alam or umiwas siya talagang sagutin.
“Sayang ang beauty ni Bea Alonzo kung sa loob naman niya ay meron siyang power playing syndrome. Ang isipin mo na icancel ang invitation para sa mga taong gustong imbitahin ng nagbigay ng presscon, parang napaka petty mong tao. Act of selfishness na talagang hindi ko maisip na magagawa ng isang Bea Alonzo at Shirley Kuan.
“Kung kanino idea na huwag pa-invite sila Gorgy at Salve, isang malaking kabobohan sa gumawa ng order,” she stated.
In March 2022, Alonzo allegedly prevented Solis from attending a beauty brand press conference.
Solis revealed that it was her first time to be ‘canceled’ at a press conference.
